Apprentice Spotlight: Matt Mitchell
Matt is on his second year as an operator apprentice with Local 701. He enjoys operating forklifts and loaders.

How have you benefitted from this apprenticeship?
"The most beneficial part of joining is all the opportunities you get. For me, it was a career choice. I was going job to job. I recently got married and had a kid, so this is a really good spot for us to be in."

Why go union instead of non-union?
"The training is better, and the safety. They do a lot of safety training and offer more resources."
